Roswell, the seventh largest city in Georgia, boasts an estimated population of 94,089 and is located in north Fulton County. Roswell is the birthplace of comedian Jeff Foxworthy, NFL legend Jerome Bettis and current U.S. Secretary of Health and Human Services Tom Price.
Quick History
Roswell was first settled by Roswell King, who saw the area’s potential for a cotton mill. King, in the 1830s, built the mill and invited investors from the East Coast to join him in the newly settled area. The city was first chartered in 1854.
