Located just 10 miles outside of Atlanta, Smyrna is the fastest growing city in the state. With plenty of diverse residential developments and equally unique retail shops and restaurants, the city attracts a younger demographic and was even ranked #4 as the best city for young adults in Georgia!
In the early 1800s, Smyrna was a hub for social and religious life. Once the site of mills and factories, Smyrna eventually transformed into a more agrarian community. In 1872, the city was officially incorporated and named for one of Paul the Apostle’s seven churches in Asia.
